Lord, should believers be proud of Jesus and His Gospel?
Jesus spoke on this issue clearly:
For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will be ashamed when he comes in His glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels…” – Luke 9:26
I was always Proud of Jesus and His Gospel in my heart but was reluctant to express it in public! Pope Leo XIV
Peter, after all, was so ashamed of Jesus that he denied the Lord before others, but Jesus forgave Peter when he repented (Luke 22:31–32).
